This website will serve as a personal blog for me where I post about media I enjoy, life experiences, hobby and art progress updates, and also a bit of a journal (warning it will be very 'did the journal factory explode?' you just have to put up with my ranting and moping occasionally)

The first weekend postgrad, no more school. My parents keep jokingly calling me a NEET (백수) it's funny but also pmo slightly.

Went to the beach with the fam on Saturday, the weather was really nice and I swam a bit. We saw some jellyfish which are cute but also scary... We ran into my brother's friend who was here with his family and ended up raising the average percentage of asians at *** beach like tenfold lmfaooo

My sister and I did sand tattoos!! I will put up a photo once I get started on the gallery but they are SO CUTE. We drew with wet sticks on our skin then sprinkled dry sand on it to draw patterns on it. We tried it on our mum too but she was too pale for it to work

On Sunday the weather was DOGSHIT. Got soaked on the way to church but the chuseok food was bomb so it's ok! Pastor H came in for a surprise visit and he did his usual thing (he's like if punk ideologies were subverted to be hyper religious). He is offputting to the adults because he's too extreme but offputting to the youth because he's extremely conservative.

We got little gift boxes as grad gifts!! It was just like snacks unlike last year where they got actual gifts but I appreciate it nonetheless it's super cute. We went for KBBQ dinner at the youth leader's house and it was really entertaining. Everyone was discussing the crazy shit they did for scavs/grad afterparties (some girl drank a shot of vodka w/ mayo then spat it into her friend's mouth???) and youth leader was UNCOMFORTABLE. Anyways the food was bomb and we played games and it was chill.

The two anticlimactic postgrad days XD

Went to school bright and early on Thursday to do like four english paper 1 short answer questions, give up, then make noodles at the cottage. Genuinely did nothing then gave up and decided to bum around instead. Btw I am kinda miffed that there was no awesome postgrad rager maybe K*** was onto smth I should've been partying like...

Anyways on Thursday I went to Doro's place first which was muy divertido! Got to see baby Nyaaapkin and also Doro's beautiful room with all the lovely things to look at. Love looking at things, things are so great. We had bubble tea and walked to Zor's place! At Zor's place we watched Rick and Morty and just hung out and had individual but collective doomscrolling time. I looked at some vinted stuff even tho I really shouldn't be buying anything. Mama Doro made us a beautiful omelette for dinner it was BOMB. I went home and was very sleepy.

Friday was a WEEEEE bit more productive. Went to school in the morning to help clean out the cottage but lowkey it was not my duty responsibility so I just did dishes (do ur own damn dishes bro), organised the kitchen, wiped some stuff down and left. Picked up some unseen papers and went to the lib with Lala and we did some work (mostly yapped and sat with head in hands while looking at our work).

Oh also I saw Apollo from KR at the lib! I was like 90% sure it was them so I texted and that was super cool. All of their friends also looked super cool and tuff I am impressed. Anyways went home after some very light studying. Had some bomb chuseok food courtesy of mama. Backrooms GC called and I preserved my grad flowers on call. I have pressed two batches which are sitting under all my textbooks and also have 2 mini bouquets drying under my desk. The other flowers I'll probably just let bloom then die I don't have enough space nor patience to preserve the rest...

My last official day as a highschooler

The weather was SHIT BUM POO TERRIBLE why was it raining DURING OUR CEREMONYYYYYYYY. My hair was actually going insane from being rained on and all the humidity but whateverrrr.

Genuinely started the day off crying on the train because my parents didn't get me flowers for grad like apparently they didn't know you were supposed to get flowers for the day. It sounds like a privileged ahhh problem but your girl was upset ok? Anyways I sat across some juniors I know on the train which seems quite fitting. Bought myself flowers from woollies before school (miley cyrus flowers ahhh Im sorry).

The ceremony and all the graduation proceedings were so sweet I was on the verge of tears the whole damn time. The video in the hall to all the speeches had me so emotional, and I'm so fucking glad I was able to sit with a big group of wonderful people who I can call my friends, even if we aren't a friend group per se. Getting my teddy and bag signed was a logistical mess but I think I got most people to sign it! We got a start on photos (still waiting on that damn backrooms photo from the src?? girl??) and hugs and goodbyes. The captains speech genuinely had my ass in tears but I held it down, I even got a shoutout during Rina's portion of the speech but I lwk forgot what it was about now lmfao.

Also oh my god????? I didn't know I was so loved amongst juniors can you believe it. My Year 7 buddy all grown up now got me a little weighted panda bear plushie as a gift :((( she's so fucking cute I actually started crying :(( And my cute little coworkers also got me chocolates I am so touched oh my god genuinely in tears they are so cute. Also Lina got me a little gift bag with lollies and a sweet little message omg. I actually genuinely wish I had gotten to know her earlier god she is so sweet.

Actual clapout was a blur, but I got photos with all my teachers which I'm glad for, and all my younger friends too. I was able to deliver Ms K's gift of chocolates to her, and the geo class got together to give Ms B her gift too, and we just all hung around super long at the staffroom because geo was a pretty special class. I'm still super proud of the card/poster idea although idk if Ms B will put it up anywhere.

All the emotional goodbyes done (we were literally gonna see eachother tomorrow too) the scellig gang went out for food. it was difficult choosing what because we were all already so overloaded but the weather called for malatang so we just went to the food court ahah. Food was bomb (can malatang ever go wrong??) and we slowly made our way to the secondhand bookshop for a bit before I had to go home.

Sorta cried at the dinner table while I sorted the whole flowers thing out with my parents because my mum was being a bum and not speaking to me/mad at me because of her own insecurity at not knowing australian customs like. Imho can she not just try harder and find out it's not like she's the only immigrant mother in this country but whatever I get that she just felt guilty.

Marchpocalypse (or a version of it anyways) last concert and grad stuff today.

Went to school not knowing my part for motion sickness (phoebe bridgers love of my fucking life) and learning it on the train lwk. We helped set up in the hall, Ms S still scares the shit out of me even though she is sweet and I know she is. Went to the cottage and did our matching bouquets for clapout!! They actually turned out SOSOSOSOSOSO beautiful I am so excited. Lala has a magical hand at this I think anything crafty they could master.

Rehearsed for the concert with the band (Rina, Sl, Y) for the last time, we decided to do it sitting down since the vibes are more subdued (we forgot our straps). We didn't sound too bad for a band that has had ONE whole group practice until the day lmfao. The Y11 band will hopefully not fall apart like us. Not gonna lie there will never be another Meraki they were so goated. The show was pretty great, lots of amazing dances and musical numbers. Also Lina did a dance and I was IMPRESSED I did not know girl was moving like that. We played and it was pretty emotional but I do NOT want to watch the video back cuz I know I made hella mistakes.

I got my highschool diploma!

Today was insane. Didn't have class first period, but had my last bio class. Omg I am going to miss my bio gang so much. Ms T baked us school-colour themed cupcakes??? She is so fucking sweet??? We did a fun activity where we made a model of Sally from Penno using lollies most of which we ate straight after. We presented her with the heart plush gift and I think she liked it but maybe found it a bit impractical lol.

Headed down to the RSL for rehearsal, which was boring but fine. Then the scellig gang went to buy flowers for clapout!! It was super fun we bought roses, carnations, baby's breath, and also some lilies but not for Soph due to the car. We took them over to Em's place, played with the dawg, got ready w hair and makeup (though the humidity fucked my hair up bad) and Soph recited the first 37 seconds of lego ninjago episode one to us. Ahem. Long before time had a name, the first spinjitsu master crated Ninjago using four elemental weapons.But when he passed, a dark presence sought out to collect them all: Lord Garmadon. So I, Sensei Wu, his brother, sought out to find four ninja to collect them first

Met dad for grad dinner at the RSL and had the most awkward (and mid) dinner of our liveeeees. Soph's parents weren't there, Lala and Em's were all there but they were all seated across from eachother as they didn't want to be next to their parents but my dad ended up alone at the head of the table. I got Prof in Maths and Geo which was lovely and I expected it but they did NOT announce my first in korean award? Which I would like to have flexed to the other korean kids ngl. Anyways the whole ceremony was a blur. I cried when Ms T did her speech, and when Rina did her speech. The slideshow of our high school photos were so freaking cute too. Also the warm and fuzzies omg I crode. I will treasure them sm and I'm so sad I didn't get to write as many.

After some socialising and mingling and photo taking, they gave out dessert which was bomb and then put the dance music on. I genuinely did not think I would dance but it was super duper fun! I was wary since all the parents were filming but like they put on some good 2000s party music (which I listen to as my dont kys hype music) so we all just sorta jumped and sang along and it was fun.
